County Wexford Civil Defence Team were Runners up to South Tipperary Civil Defence in the Regional Competition in Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow on 16th October, 2011.

The teams were exercised in five disciplines:  Footdrill Dress Inspection, Rescue / Casulty Site, Communications Site, Flooding Auxuiliary Fire Service Site and a Team Challenge on the River Barrow.  The County Wexford Welfare Group provided meals for all on the day.

Tall Ships Race, The Hook & Duncannon, Co. Wexford.  Ambulance, Boat and First Aid cover to be provided by Civil Defence.
